Versatility is key to this beautiful variety; therefore, alongside our fresh and crisp stainless steel fermented Viognier, we have decided to add a French oak barrel fermented version.
The quality of the oak is fundamental; we acquire our barrels exclusively from Tonnellerie Ermitage, where each of the barrel is made to order from stave wood sourced in the most renowned forests of France: Bertranges and Tronçais. In this case, we use lightly toasted barrels for the wine to ferment in, after that, the wine is transferred in stainless steel tanks for at least 5 months where it continues to enrich on fine lees before being bottled.
This wine represents the harmony between exotic fruit, minerality and herbal fragrances, and captivating honey and vanilla hints - a smooth, full-bodied wine with pleasant acidity and long lingering finish.
