For us at Madonna del Latte, this isn't just about picking grapes; it's a celebration of our land and a testament to the passion that has driven us for nearly two decades.

Unlike large-scale operations, we believe the best wine starts with a personal touch. That's why our harvest is a meticulous, three-week process done entirely by hand. From late August to early September, a dedicated team moves through the rows, carefully selecting only the finest, perfectly ripe bunches. It's a true labor of love, requiring an intimate understanding of the vines and the subtle changes that signal the perfect time to pick.

Working by hand allows us to be precise, ensuring that no unripe or damaged grapes make it into the cellar. This gentle approach preserves the delicate aromas and flavors of each varietal, from our Orvieto Classico Superiore to our Pinot Nero. The result is a wine that truly reflects the unique terroir of our Umbrian countryside—a glass full of character and integrity.
